A member shared with me today how fear of failure paralyses and overwhelms her every time she has an opportunity to speak out and make her voice heard. So she keeps quiet and knows that she's viewed as a quiet mouse. Yesterday she took a very courageous step. She asked a team colleague to draw her into the conversation by asking her a question in the next team meeting they have. That will force her to respond - and she knows that if she starts doing this more, her fear of speaking in public will slowly diminish. She wants to transform from "invisible" to "confident" and this is her first step in doing so. I love her courage and I look forward to her next update!
