I had a good laugh with a member recently. He told me that after Day 50 (Risky business) he realised that he needed to take more risks and put himself "out there". So he volunteered on behalf of his team to do a presentation on a somewhat controversial proposal. Then he started panicking, big time! He spent a sleepless night worrying about what he would say, how it would land on others, what could go wrong, why he was not the right person and so on and so on. He felt the need to revisit Day 49 (Shine a Light) and decided to make a list of positives to talk himself up. Every time he started worrying about the presentation, he took out this list in order to get his mind right. His presentation is coming up shortly and he feels he's on the right track and feeling confident. His message to others out there in a similar position is to make that list and keep reminding yourself of your good qualities!
