If you're unhappy in your current work situation, it's worth spending time on exploring the "what" and the "why" before seeking to change things. If you don't change the underlying things that are making you unhappy, a new situation won't necessarily solve that. It may just add to the stress. So if you're unhappy, first ask yourself why. What exactly is making you unhappy? And why is that (use the 7 why's to get deep into the issue!). Once you've done that, describe what your perfect solution would look like. Is there value in addressing things in your current environment to make you more satisfied with where you're at? Before running away from it?
