A member shared with me this morning that she spent a recent long weekend in completely re-organizing her home office. It's a small space under staircase so it's not big - which means she has to be very organized about how she plans her space. Previously it was cluttered and she was forever knocking things over in trying to find stuff or plug in cables.
She was greatly inspired by Day 45 - Kondo my Space - and gathered ideas from Pinterest which would suit her work area. Trips to the hardware store, a storage box shop and a charity shop (for a better chair) and some hours of painting and organizing was all it took give her a brand new space.
She was ruthless in throwing away files and paperwork that are non-essential, organizing her cables and doing online archiving. She now feels thoroughly prepared and super-productive.
"I no longer feel overwhelmed and out of control", she told me. "I should have done this 18 months ago".
